IM Tom Rendle emerged victorious from this small but competitive section on 5.5/6 winning £100.00. He was closely followed by IM Peter Roberson and FM Peter Sowray on 4.5/6, winning £25.00 each. The Under 185 grading prize of £30.00 went to Paul du Buf with 3.5/6.
Major Under 160
Paul Haddock had an amazing tournament, winning £100.00 cleanly with 5.5/6. Anshu Ramaiya and Manpreet Sangha scored 4.5/6 and won £25.00 each. Tim Crouch won the Under 135 £30.00 grading prize for 4.6.
Minor Under 120
Tony Bynnersley and Cledwyn Davies shared top billing and won £75.00 each for their excellent score of 5/6. The Under 90 grading prize was shared by Radha Ratnesan, Eoghan Tucker and David Buckland for 3/6 - they won £10.00 each.
